Rev­o­lu­tion Trains used the 2017 In­ter­na­tional N Gauge Show on Septem­ber 9/10 to bring ‘N’ gauge en­thu­si­asts up to date with the nu­mer­ous projects that it has un­der way. It re­vealed that after more than two years in de­vel­op­ment, the Class 390 ‘Pen­dolino’ is now in pro­duc­tion, and that its Class B 35t tank wagon has reached the dec­o­rated sam­ple stage; the fi­nal sam­ples will be dis­played at War­ley in Novem­ber and the or­der book closed shortly af­ter­wards. It also said that its KFA con­tainer flat has been tooled and is ready for pro­duc­tion, and that once liv­er­ies have been fi­nalised the or­der book will be closed, prob­a­bly around Christmas. Mean­while, de­sign work for the IZA Car­gowag­gon Twin is com­plete, with tool­ing to start im­mi­nently, while an en­gi­neer­ing sam­ple of its Class 92 will be un­der­go­ing close in­spec­tion. Once ap­proved, the or­der book will be closed and the mod­els put into pro­duc­tion.
