HELJAN FILLS CLASS 25 VARIANT GAP
Heljan is to follow 2016’s Class 25 and 25/1 with another important variant, the Class 25/3. These 80 machines were introduced in 1966/67 for freight duties, as they didn’t have water tanks and steam-heating boilers. They made use of the revised noses, which didn’t originally have gangway doors. Liveries and prices have yet to be confirmed. However, the model will have the proven mechanism found on previous Heljan ‘O’ gauge models. The project is already at the computer design stage and the models are expected to be available towards the end of 2018.
