HAPPY BIRTHDAY MODEL RAIL!

I am not sure where the last 20 years went but my association with goes back to its days as a supplement in RAIL, which is still avidly read by every railway press office on the network. Looking through the Bachmann library, I realised just how much the hobby has changed since those early days. Appointing Chris Leigh to edit the magazine initially was a sound move. Chris was followed by Ben Jones and more recently Richard Foster, who have continued to build on the foundations that were laid 20 years ago. Congratulations, therefore, to the Model Rail team on reaching their 20th anniversary; I wish them every success in the years ahead. I am sure there will be plenty of news from Bachmann to report in future editions.
