Get figgy with it
Fresh figs are in season right now, and they’re great for mums-to-be as they’re packed with zinc and potassium, plus fibre to help keep constipation at bay. This good-for-you but oh-so-decadent dessert is a perfect treat for when you’re having a cosy night in with a box set and your partner. Preheat the oven to 180˚C/ 350˚F/gas mark 4. Cut six figs in half and place on a shallow baking dish. Drizzle with 2 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp orange juice, and sprinkle each with a pinch of cinnamon. Bake for 20 minutes or until soft, and serve with a few spoonfuls of Greek yoghurt. Serves four.
