You’ll need a 500g pack of quickcook spaghetti to make this Halloween-themed paintbrush. Hold the bundle of dried spaghetti firmly and carefully loop an elastic band tightly around it about half way down. Prop the bundle in a fairly upright position in a pan, filling the pan with just enough boiling water to leave the ‘broom handle’ out of the cooking water. Cook the rest of the length of spaghetti as usual, following the pack instructions, then drain and leave to cool for 15 minutes. Pour some paint onto paper plates, then let your tot get creative dipping in and dabbing onto paper with his spooky paintbrush.
