Q My three-year-old son is totally obsessed with tractors. Should I go with it or try and broaden his interests?

Mother & Baby (UK) - - HERE TO HELP - Dani Lloyd, Swansea CM

This is absolutely normal! My son was obsessed with fire engines. It’s all part of his character development. Almost a third of children between the ages of three and six have an intense interest in something. Use his love of tractors as a catalyst to encourage other learning. It’s a great starting point to introduce colours, maths, early reading skills and art projects. You’ll miss those tractors when he’s moved on to his ‘next big thing’!
