Reigning Scottish BMW Compact Cup champion Steven Dailly is eyeing a move to the Ginetta GT5 Challenge.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a dominant season in 2015, winning all 16 races and was also crowned the SMRC’S Champion of Champions in only his second full year of racing cars.

He is now targeting a move to the Ginetta category with his family-run KC Motorsport squad.

“I tested the car at Silverstone and loved it,” said Dailly. “It’s going to be a steep learning curve as I’ve only raced at Thruxton, Oulton Park and Donington Park of the English tracks. But I’m a fighter and will always try my best.

“I’m definitely aiming for the top three and am confident I can be up there.”

Dailly’s ultimate aim is Le Mans: “The plan is to get to Le Mans level and this is the starting point. I was delighted to win the title this year and now want to move on.”
