IPSWICH: HOT ROD WORLD FINAL July 2/3

Motor Sport News - - Where To Go This Season - MJ

The drivers have worked since June of the year before to earn enough points to gain a slot on the National Hot Rod World Final at Ipswich.

It doesn’t matter where they are in the United Kingdom, qualifying slots are open for them.

Once they have guaranteed a slot in the line-up, it all comes down to a 75-lap dash around the thronged Foxhall Heath stadium. There are thousands of fans packed in to the arena, which is more than capable of coping with the influx of supporters due to its ongoing upgrade programme by Spedeworth Motorsports.

There are no more partisan fans than those who follow short oval racing, and that makes for an electric atmosphere inside the venue as the final unfolds. Scores are settled, history is made and the ultimate champion is crowned at the end of the night.

Alongside the main event, there is a packed support programme of some of the finest that short oval motorsport has to offer. These silhouettes will blow you away.
