COVENTRY RACEWAY: BRISCA F1 WORLD FINAL WEEKEND
Much like the National Hot Rods, the BRISCA F1 season comes down to a no-holds-barred shootout at Coventry.
The best drivers across the course of the season will have earned enough marks to be included in the shootout, and then it is up to them, gloves off, to sort it out. A driver can win the points contest across the course of the season but, in truth, it is all about the big one. No one remembers who came second.
BRISCA F1 is a full contact sport (within certain parameters) and so it often boils down to a last-gasp lunge. Don’t expect any driver to give any others a favour: it is win or nothing.
Being as Coventry is due to close at the end of 2016, the drivers are all desperately eager to make a mark in the last final at the venue.
On the Friday before the World Final, there is the chance to see some overseas racers as the best from Holland, New Zealand and America fight it out in a special event.
