Fore leaves CRG Karting legend Davide Fore has left the CRG team after seven years and will move to the Gold Kart outfit for 2016. The 41-year-old Italian has continued competing at karting’s top level in recent years and one of his highlights with the team was his second place in the European KZ Championship in 2013. He decided to leave following a difference in future objectives. Fore has competed against a host of top F1 drivers during his career, including Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso. Reigning European KZ champion Flavio Camponeschi will replace Fore at CRG having spent eight years with Tony Kart. “I left a great team, but I have found a place at a very strong squad, which is a great opportunity,” said the Italian.

Norris to KSM Irish karting ace John Norris will switch to Ralf Schumacher’s KSM Motorsport team for 2016. The 23-year-old will compete in German and European series with the team. He previously raced for the Mach1 factory team but will begin testing the new OK engines with KSM. “I am pleased to welcome John to our team,” said Schumacher. “He will be the main focus and spearhead our team in the DSKM [German kart championship].”
