Briton King secures GP2 return with top team
Manor Formula 1 test driver Jordan King will remain with Racing Engineering in GP2 this year.
The 21-year-old Briton finished 12th in the standings in his first season in the category in 2015, taking a best result of second at Spa.
“I’ve kept the continuity with the same team, so there aren’t any excuses,” he said. “The pressure is high, but I feel confident I can do it.”
King added that he’s unsure of what his exact role will be with Manor this year, having spent three days testing with the team in the post-season test in Abu Dhabi at the end of last year. ● Meanwhile, ART Grand Prix has announced that Sergey Sirotkin will join the team this year. The Russian finished third in the series last year with Rapax.
