Manor passes test

Manor’s new For­mula 1 car has passed its fi­nal crash test at the first at­tempt. The Ban­bury-based team is now ready to test its first new car since 2014, af­ter rac­ing a mod­i­fied year-old car last sea­son. The 2016 car fea­tures a cur­rent-spec Mercedes en­gine and the team has been aided by a tech­ni­cal part­ner­ship with Wil­liams. The team has also hired ex-fer­rari de­signer Niko­las Tom­bazis as its chief aero­dy­nam­i­cist.
