For­mula Ju­niors flock to cel­e­brate HSCC’S land­mark an­niver­sary

A record en­try of 120 For­mula Ju­nior sin­gle-seaters is the tar­get for the HSCC’S 50th an­niver­sary meet­ing on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix cir­cuit on July 1-3.

The event is part of the three- year For­mula Ju­nior Di­a­mond Ju­bilee World Tour and will in­clude three races for fron­tengined cars, rear-en­gined drum-braked cars and rearengined disc-braked cars. The three grids will have ca­pac­ity for 114 cars in to­tal.

Prime mover Dun­can Rabagliati says he wants the week­end to be the big­gest-ever gath­er­ing of Ju­niors. “The plan is to get over 100 cars and the tar­get is 120,” said Rabagliati.
