Stan­ley Mann dies af­ter fall

Lead­ing Bent­ley re­storer and racer Stan­ley Mann died re­cently at the age of 70 af­ter a work­shop fall.

Mann ac­quired his first Bent­ley in 1970 and later formed the Stan­ley Mann Rac­ing Team to en­ter Bent­leys in a wide range of mo­tor sport events. In 1990 he was a founder mem­ber of the Ben­jafield’s Rac­ing Club and was one of the lead­ing char­ac­ters in the vin­tage Bent­ley fra­ter­nity.

He took part in a range of record­break­ing ad­ven­tures in Bent­leys and was a renowned re­storer at his work­shops in Hert­ford­shire.

His son Oliver will con­tinue to run the busi­ness.
