The dead­line for en­tries for this year’s For­mula 3 Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship has been ex­tended by two weeks af­ter con­cerns that at least four teams were likely to pull out. The FIA in­sists the cham­pi­onship is in good health, and that last year’s mas­sive 35-car en­try was too large. “We would like to give two more weeks to ex­tend the en­try pe­riod to make sure the teams that have re­quested time to fi­nalise some agree­ment will have the time to do it,” said FIA Sin­gle Seater Com­mis­sion pres­i­dent Ste­fano Domeni­cali… GP3 cham­pion Este­ban Ocon will race for ART Grand Prix in the DTM this year, a s Mercedes has shuf­fled its driver line-up.
