New initiative to support Irish racing talent
A new initiative has been launched by Motorsport Ireland to help support young Irish drivers.
The Team Ireland Foundation is in partnership with Us-based philanthropist John Campion and Declan Brennan Sports Management. Drivers will benefit from nutritional, physical and psychological support.
Ginetta Junior Ireland champion Jordan Dempsey, Northern Formula Ford 1600 champion Jake Byrne and Ginetta Junior Ireland race winner James Roe have been selected.
“The programme we have developed for our young, gifted and elite drivers is designed to bring the best out of the participants both personally and competitively,” said Motorsport Ireland president Martin Mckenna. “With the support of the foundation, we are confident that our Team Ireland drivers will make great progress and become the best that they can be.”
