Teenager Sanders opts for sportscar campaign over single-seaters

-

Junior racer Jordan Sanders will complete a dual campaign in the OSS Championship and the Vdev Proto Endurance series this season.

The 16-year-old will drive a Juno CN12 in OSS and a Ligier JS53 Evo 2 in Vdev, sharing both cars with Duncan Williams.

Sanders has made the switch after rejecting a move into single-seaters. “Making the move to wings and slicks was like being a complete novice again,” he said. “I tried out the MSA Formula car and both the old and new BRDC F4 but decided it was sportscars for me. Being realistic it’s going to be a learning year. I’m going to do the best I can. The most important thing is to enjoy it.”

Tanner: “When the helmet is smooth, we get to work applying the finer details to it with a very small, fine airbrush. We can use stencils to create the really intricate stuff.”
