Procter expands his 2016 targets
Kevin Procter will race in selected rounds of the British, European and World Rallycross Championships this season driving his Ford Fiesta Super 2000-based rallycross Supercar.
Procter finished third in British RX last year, and won the final round of the season at Croft, his local event. He will compete in the season opener at the same circuit this weekend.
“Last year was always planned as a bit of a development season and we knew we would have to spend some time getting the new Ford Fiesta competitive in rallycross,” said Procter who, alongside British and European Championship events, plans to race at the British and French rounds of World RX, at Lydden Hill and Loheac.
“We will do as many of the British rounds as possible, which don’t clash with Europe, and I’m also looking for a good result at our home round of World RX,” said Procter. “A good run at Croft next weekend would be the perfect start to our British Championship, but there’s an awful lot more competition this year so it won’t be easy.”
