David Ham, best known for rac­ing a Lis­ter-jaguar ex­ten­sively in his­toric events, has died aged 76 af­ter a long ill­ness. The rac­ing so­lic­i­tor started com­pet­ing in 1960 and raced var­i­ous As­ton Mar­tins be­fore ac­quir­ing the ex-ecurie Ecosse Lis­ter in 1969. He raced the car all over the world un­til struck by ill health.
