With last weekend proving one of the most busy of the season this year, UK TV is just catching up and MN’S TV Guide is here to help.
Both the World Endurance Championship (Wednesday, 1415-1720hrs) and the European Le Mans Series (Sunday, 0625-0810hrs, Motors TV) graced Silverstone with some fantastic racing. WEC in particular got its season underway in fine style.
Awfully on the same weekend, fans were made to choose between Silverstone and the British GT championship opener at Brands Hatch (Saturday, 1825-1925hrs, Motors TV). The addition of an extended GT4 field and a couple of Barwell Lamborghinis certainly spiced up the action.
Two more club events are available to watch in highlights form, with the Britcar 24 Hours (Thursday, 1855-2000hrs, Motors TV) running in its new touring car-style format for the first time. Also on offer, the BMW Compact Cup made its season debut at Brands Hatch (Friday, 1720-1750hrs, Motors TV).
Onto the loose; the third round of the BTRDA Rally Series (Friday, 2135-2205hrs, Motors TV) took place last weekend in Minehead. Would Charlie Payne and Luke Francis continue their dominance at the front of the pack?
Also from the rally world, Circuit of Kerry (Friday, 2100-2135hrs, Motors TV) was used by multiple crews to prepare for the Circuit of Ireland and featured interesting battles through the field.
Finally, the first instalment of Sebastien Loeb v Petter Solberg in the World Rallycross Championship occurred last weekend. See how the duo faired in ITV’S extended highlights (Saturday, 1125-1230hrs, Motors TV).
