Rosberg joins elite with a fourth win
Nico Rosberg insists he is not yet thinking about the world championship, despite becoming only the fourth man to ever win the opening four races of the season.
No driver has ever gone on to lose the championship having triumphed in the opening quartet of races. Rosberg joins Ayrton Senna (1991), Nigel Mansell (1992) and Michael Schumacher (1994, 2004) as the only drivers to ever have a perfect score at this stage of the campaign.
Rosberg said: “Of course it sounds cool [winning the title], but you know it’s not my focus. I’m just enjoying winning at the moment. Yes I have a good points lead but there’s still 425 points up for grabs . Lewis will use this and come back fighting. He will be motivated and will come back stronger.”
