Force India anger

Force India’s chief operating officer Otmar Szafnauer described the start of the Russian GP as “ridiculous” as both of his drivers were involved in first-lap incidents. It was the second time in three races that both Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg were involved in opening lap collisions. “It’s just ridiculous,” he said. “How can you plan for that? After that we had to do one extra pitstop compared to everyone else so take those 20 seconds away and that would have put us in sixth.”
