Pri­aulx fam­ily cel­e­brates podi­ums across Europe as Seb scores

Se­bas­tian Pri­aulx se­cured his first podium fin­ish in the Ginetta Ju­nior cham­pi­onship the day af­ter his fa­ther came se­cond in the GTE Pro class at the World En­durance Cham­pi­onship’s Spa Six Hours to cap a re­ward­ing week­end of rac­ing for the Guernsey fam­ily.

Andy Pri­aulx had fin­ished on the Spa podium with his Ford team-mates Marino Fran­chitti and Harry Tinck­nell, and then trav­elled to Thrux­ton to watch his son take a rookie class win in the Ginetta Ju­nior opener and third over­all in the se­cond, both of which took place on Sun­day.

“It was a re­ally in­ter­est­ing se­cond race,” said Se­bas­tian Pri­aulx af­ter race two. “It’s great to be third [and] we were fight­ing for the lead to be hon­est. It’s a great feel­ing – I love it.”
