What bet­ter than a 50th an­niver­sary to kick off the MN TV guide, with the His­toric Sports Car Club cel­e­brat­ing the mile­stone at Cas­tle Combe. The club recre­ated its first ever race held at the same cir­cuit us­ing cars that com­peted in the first race, with the other HSCC coun­ters all com­pet­ing on an emo­tional and bril­liant week­end. Ac­tion is avail­able on Mo­tors TV (Satur­day, 2100-2205hrs).

Stick­ing with cir­cuits, there’s plenty to catch up on in this week’s guide. If you’re an en­durance fan, the sec­ond round of the World En­durance Cham­pi­onship (Thurs­day, 2235-2340hrs) and the lat­est round of the Blanc­pain En­durance Series (Thurs­day, 1240-1445, Mo­tors TV) are a must watch. WEC vis­ited Spa while Blanc­pain headed to Sil­ver­stone.

There’s a club marathon also on Mo­tors, with three Scot­tish cham­pi­onships gain­ing over two hours of ac­tion. The Scot­tish BMW Com­pact Cup, For­mula Ford 1600 and Clas­sics and Sports Sa­loons were all in ac­tion at Knock­hill (Wed­nes­day, 1720-2000hrs, Mo­tors TV) .

On the loose, Rally Por­tu­gal takes cen­tre stage ( see WRC TV) but there’s plenty more on of­fer.

Bri­tish Ral­ly­cross fea­tured at Pembrey re­cently in what is turn­ing out to be an ex­cit­ing sea­son in the pop­u­lar cham­pi­onship. Kevin Proc­ter and Ju­lian God­frey split the wins but rookie sen­sa­tion Dan Rooke ex­tended his cham­pi­onship lead (Wed­nes­day, 2235-2340hrs, Mo­tors TV)

Back to stage ral­ly­ing and there are big re­views from both the Bri­tish and Ir­ish Tar­mac cham­pi­onships back-to-back. The BRC vis­ited Carlisle for ‘bo­gey­gate’, while the ITRC vis­ited the iconic Molls Gap in­cluded in the Kil­lar­ney-based Rally of the Lakes (Thurs­day, 13001500hrs, BT Sport 1).

Fi­nally, the BTRDA vis­ited Welsh­pool for the Plains Rally, with some clas­sic for­est ral­ly­ing through Wales on of­fer (Fri­day, 2100-2135, Mo­tors TV).
