Edwards gets guest Scottish Mini outing
Jade Edwards will be the latest guest driver to race in the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup at Knockhill as part of a charity initiative.
The 25-year-old competed in British GT last season and was part of the Aston Martin Evolution Academy.
She will now race for Minimax Motorsport this weekend as part of a fundraising campaign for Childrens Hospice Association Scotland.
“This is a brilliant initiative,” said Edwards. “The idea is to get guest drivers throughout the year to raise the profile of CHAS, leading to a raffle where the Mini Cooper race car can be won.
“The Celtic Mini Cooper Cup is highly competitive and it will be my first time racing at Knockhill but the cars look awesome and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into some one-make racing.”
British Touring Car racer Aiden Moffat was a guest driver in the previous round.
