Hunt remembered at Brands Hatch
James Hunt’s racing career will be celebrated at Brands Hatch over the Bank Holiday weekend on May 28/29 with a parade of racing cars from across his career.
It was at Brands Hatch 40 years ago that Hunt won and was then excluded from a British Grand Prix victory following a first corner incident.
Later that season he won the World Championship at a rain-soaked Fuji and his trophy from that race will be on display.
A demonstration at lunchtime on Sunday will feature his title-winning Mclaren M23 and a range of other cars from his time in F3, F2 and sportscars. His son Freddie will be guest of honour.
