F1 can learn lessons

Motor Sport News - - Have Your Say -

Watching Indycars and other series I am stunned as how poor F1 is.

Indycars have positions displayed on digital readouts on their airboxes, these displays change to pit stopped time and when push to pass is used.

I’ve not been to an F1 race for years but realise it is confusing to follow live at the track, with stops meaning so many changes in car positions.

Also you see onboard cameras that swivel to give an impression of speed.

Why cannot F1 introduce all of these technologies instead of just indulging themselves in the smallminded view that it thinks it is best?
