WHAT’S ON? TEST YOUR SKILLS AGAINST THE CLOCK…
From novice drivers to seasoned competitors, BARC Midlands Centre Sprints provide an excellent opportunity to put your driving skills to the test in a relaxed and friendly environment. Catering for almost every type of vehicle from standard production to single-seater racing cars, over the last decade these events have developed into a highly successful programme that’s increasingly popular with competitors nationwide.
Once again, our Rockingham Sprint in March kicked off the racing season in sensational style. Now, just two opportunities to join us in 2016 remain - The John Clarke Sprint on Saturday, August 6, and The October Sprint on Saturday, October 1. Both these will be held at Curborough in Staffordshire, the former enjoying the new figure-of-eight course and the latter a double lap of the full circuit.
BARC Midlands Centre Sprints are open to competitors from a wide range of championships, including our very own BARC SBD Speed Championship, plus members of over thirty national and regional clubs. And, with a standard entry fee of just £90 for either meeting, they deliver a great day of competitive motorsport that’s fantastic value for money too!
Hot and cold food will be available at the venue, plus free camping and caravanning facilities for anyone staying over on Friday or Saturday night. Both events will close with an award ceremony, providing a trophy for every placed competitor across all classes. What’s more, our free Kids Camera Competition is sure to help keep younger guests entertained.
Limited places are still available. So, if you’d like to join us at Curborough on August 6, October 1, or even on both dates, then please call Noreen Ward on 01455 824 494 or email firstname.lastname@example.org She’ll be delighted to provide you with further details, a copy of the Supplemental Regulations and an official entry form.
