Brown busy in F1 at Silverstone Classic
American racer Zak Brown will drive three Grand Prix cars on his debut at the Silverstone Classic next month.
Both the ex-jacques Villeneuve 1996 Williams FW18 and the ex-mika Hakkinen Mclaren MP4-16A from 2001 won the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and will be driven by Brown and United Autosports boss Richard Dean in the ‘Legends of Modern F1’ demonstration sessions.
Brown will also race Jackie Stewart’s 1970 March 701 in the FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship double-header.
The Ken Tyrrell-entered March scored the marque’s first F1 victory in the 1970 Race of Champions at Brands Hatch and Stewart later took second place in the nonchampionship Silverstone International Trophy.
