Ex-british GT man Ellis gets Carrera Cup run
Former British GT champion Bradley Ellis raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB last weekend, standing in for Adrian Barwick.
Barwick was unable to race due to a wedding, allowing Ellis to take his place at Team Parker Racing for Croft.
“Adrian is away, so I was able to take the seat as a sort of early birthday present as I am his full-time driver coach,” said the 2007 GT champion, who also shared a GT4 Ginetta with Barwick last year. “It’s purely a case of me standing in for a weekend.”
Ellis took a best result of sixth in the two races.
