Plans in place for the eighth East African Safari
The eighth East African Safari Rally will run for nine days in November 2017 and cover 2500 miles in a route that will start and finish in Mombasa.
Entries for the event will open on August 1 and there are 60 places available at a total entry fee, including shipping from the UK, of £28,000.
The rally will start on Thursday November 23 and finish on Friday December 1 for what the organisers claim to be the ‘world’s greatest classic rally’.
Former world champion Stig Blomqvist won the last event in 2015 as Porsche 911s took eight of the top 10 places.
