Hall brings famous Formula 5000 Trojan back to life at Brands Hatch
A Formula 5000 Trojan made famous by Keith Holland has returned to racing in the hands of fellow Kent driver Adrian Hall.
Now back in the original colours of Ian Ward Racing, Holland won at Mallory Park and Mondello Park in the Trojan T101 in 1973 on his way to finishing third in that season’s European F5000 Championship.
The car was later used in sprint events and hillclimbs until the end of the 1970s.
It was owned for several decades by Formula Libre racer Jim Moore but not been used in competition since the 1980s.
Hall raced the car in the Derek Bell Trophy races at Brands Hatch over the weekend.
