Verstappen warned to alter driving style
FIA race director Charlie Whiting has held private talks with Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen in an effort to calm the teenager’s aggressive driving.
The Dutchman has been the subject of much complaint in recent months, with his defensive moves at both the German and Belgian grands prix courting grumbles from rival drivers.
In the wake of the race at Spa, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen suggested Verstappen was on the verge of a “massive accident”.
Whiting met with both Raikkonen and Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel in Monza, before holding one-to-one talks with Verstappen
