United Autosports confirms drivers for two-car Prototype Cup assault at Snetterton
United Autosports has confirmed its two-car line-up for the inaugural Prototype Cup race at Snetterton in October.
The Anglo-american team will field former world GT champion Matteo Bobbi and Jay Palmer in its first Ligier JS P3 – as revealed in Motorsport News back in July. The second car will be crewed by historic racing duo Richard Meins and Shaun Lynn. The car will run in a Gulf Oils livery ( as pictured left).
Meins said: “I have driven various GT3 cars but the Ligier is a step further and a really exciting experience. It is such a responsive car with masses of grip and looks great.
“Shaun and I have raced against each other for years, but never together, so it should be a fun experience.”
