The 2016 Trackrod Rally York­shire will be one of the high­lights of the ral­ly­ing cal­en­dar as around 160 crews tackle the very best of the fa­mous York­shire for­est stages on Fri­day ans Satur­day, Septem­ber 30/Oc­to­ber 1.

As is now tra­di­tion, the Trackrod will use the fab­u­lous gravel roads of the North York­shire forests, with clas­sic stages in Dalby, Lang­dale and Gale Rigg.

The chance to com­pete over such fa­mous stages guar­an­tees a fab­u­lous en­try and spec­ta­tors will be will catered for with easy ac­cess to well set-up view­ing ar­eas.

The rally fea­tures two sec­tions; the Trackrod For­est Stages and the Trackrod His­toric Cup.

The Trackrod For­est Stages fea­tures 45 stage miles and is a round of 12 cham­pi­onships in­clud­ing the Ravenol BTRDA Rally Series and the Maxxis MSA English Rally Cham­pi­onship.

The Trackrod His­toric Cup fea­tures 55 stage miles, in­clud­ing a 10-mile stage in the dark­ness of Fri­day evening, and is the fi­nal round of the Min­tex MSA Bri­tish His­toric Rally Cham­pi­onship.

The mag­nif­i­cent set­ting of Scamp­ston Hall near Mal­ton will be rally HQ for the 2016 event. Scamp­ston Hall will host scru­ti­neer­ing, doc­u­men­ta­tion and the fin­ish and this will be the first rally to be based at this pres­ti­gious venue, thus main­tain­ing the com­pact route which is a pop­u­lar fea­ture of the rally.

The Trackrod His­toric Cup will start at 1900hrs on Fri­day, while on Satur­day the first car will start at 0930hrs and re­turn to the fin­ish at around 1515hrs af­ter two vis­its to the main ser­vice area.
