F3 gets Spa visit and Snetterton standalone
The BRDC British Formula 3 Championship will again feature an eight-round, 24-race schedule that includes a visit to the SpaFrancorchamps in Belgium.
Jonathan Palmer’s Motorsport Vision Racing-run championship will again support the British GT Championship at seven of its eight rounds next year, and has its own standalone event at Snetterton once more.
The 2017 start date is three weekends later than in 2016, with next year’s campaign starting alongside British GT at Oulton Park on the April 16/17 Bank Holiday weekend.
Although the first Snetterton round – the season opener this year – moves back to the weekend of May 27/28, the championship will again have its own standalone round at the Norfolk circuit, which will be held on the August 26/27 weekend.
It also features rounds at Rockingham (April 29/30), Silverstone (June 10/11) and Brands Hatch (August 5/6) as well as the event at Spa on the July 7/8 weekend.
