Manderson back to OSS in Bowlby Mk2
GT and prototype racer Matt Manderson will return to the OSS Championship at Silverstone next month, driving a Bowlby Mk2 that has previously been campaigned by Ginger Marshall in the series.
Manderson has raced an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in British GT this year but will now compete in the OSS finale. He will race with number 82, the number his father Doug used when competing against Marshall in Special Saloons.
“To be back in the OSS is fantastic news for me,” said Manderson. “Winning the first two OSS races in the Chiron back in 2009 has always been a racing highlight for me and to return for the first time since 2012 feels right.
“I am honoured to have been asked to drive this car and cannot wait to get in it. There have been many improvements made to it over the years and I believe it should go extremely well. I just hope I will do the car and the team justice.”
