Title showdowns are the theme of this week’s TV guide with past and present championship battles on the box.
Last weekend marked the final round of the Indycar season and you can watch all the action from Sonoma on Thursday (1630-1730hrs, BT Sport 2). Simon Pagenaud had a healthy lead over Will Power going into the race but tune in to see who took the final spoils.
Also last weekend was the penultimate round of the British Historic Rally Championship finale on the Rally Isle of Man. The title race is wide open. (Friday 2135-2235hrs, Motors TV).
The Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season is drawing to a close as well. Tune in this weekend (Saturday, 2300-2330hrs, Eurosport 1 and live on Sunday, 1000-1200hrs, Eurosport 1) to see if Brit Lando Norris can clinch the championship with two races to go.
If you prefer your title showdowns to have a retro feel, then there is a Classic F1 title decider being shown this week: the 1998 Japanese Grand Prix (Saturday, 1830-2100hrs, Sky Sports F1).
But if that’s too much title talk for you, then why not watch the final special programme showing highlights of the Classic Sports Car Club’s visit to Thruxton? Part three is available on Wednesday (19252030hrs, Motors TV).
