Morgan aims for Macau tin-top outing
British touring car race winner Adam Morgan will tackle his second meeting in the Chinese tin-top series in Singapore this weekend and has put an entry in to race at Macau.
The Lancashire racer won on an outing in the Chinese series in Korea earlier this year, and has been invited back to drive for the 333 Racing team in a two-litre turbocharged VW Lamando.
“It will mean I am pretty flat out between now and the BTCC finale at Brands,” said the Ciceley Racing driver, who usually handles a Mercedes-benz. “I have an entry in for the TCR race [which has a Chinese touring car class] at Macau too, but I need to sort out a deal now. The track looks awesome.
“If I could get a full-time ride out there, providing it fits in with the UK commitments, then I would jump at the chance to do the year.”
Morgan is heading to Far East
