Hill to split BRC and ST Trophy in Fiestas
MSA Asphalt B10 champion William Hill will step up to the Fiesta ST Trophy and British Rally Championship next year.
Hill, 23, is in his first full year of rallying and has impressed in his Ford Fiesta R200 and will run the car on selected events in the BRC in tandem with his ST Trophy campaign.
“I’ve only ever done Tarmac before so the idea is to get into gravel and the ST Trophy is a good championship to enter,” said Hill. “We’ll still pick and choose BRC events to do on Tarmac too. After this year we’ve been really happy with how it’s gone, we don’t want it to come to an end now.”
Hill and co-driver Richard Crozier sealed the class championship with a round to spare on the Patriot Stages last Sunday.
Hill’s father Tim was a regular rally competitor and ran cars for BRC drivers Gwyndaf Evans and Phil Collins.
