The Malaysian Grand Prix be­ing held in Oc­to­ber seems a bit out of place, fol­low­ing its switch from a tra­di­tional early sea­son slot. To help you get into the mood for this year’s edi­tion, Sky Sports are show­ing two F1 Clas­sic races on Wed­nes­day and Thurs­day this week.

First up is the 2002 race, that fea­tured a con­tro­ver­sial clash in­volv­ing who else but Michael Schu­macher (2100-2315hrs, Sky Sports F1), while in 2003’s in­stal­ment on Thurs­day you can see the first win of a fu­ture cham­pion (2100-2315hrs, Sky Sports F1).

If you want an Amer­i­can theme to your sin­gle­seater ac­tion then there’s high­lights from the re­cent Indy Lights fi­nale from La­guna Seca (Thurs­day, 1830-1930hrs, BT Sport 2).

For rally fans, there’s cov­er­age of the dra­matic BRC fi­nale. To see cham­pion El­fyn Evans take on Mark Hig­gins on Rally Isle of Man tune in on Thurs­day (1630-1730hrs, BT Sport 1).

But if you want some­thing a bit dif­fer­ent then there are high­lights from the re­cent Su­per One kart­ing event at Shen­ing­ton to see some stars of the fu­ture. Catch the ac­tion on Monday evening (1925-2100hrs, Mo­tors TV).
