The Malaysian Grand Prix being held in October seems a bit out of place, following its switch from a traditional early season slot. To help you get into the mood for this year’s edition, Sky Sports are showing two F1 Classic races on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
First up is the 2002 race, that featured a controversial clash involving who else but Michael Schumacher (2100-2315hrs, Sky Sports F1), while in 2003’s instalment on Thursday you can see the first win of a future champion (2100-2315hrs, Sky Sports F1).
If you want an American theme to your singleseater action then there’s highlights from the recent Indy Lights finale from Laguna Seca (Thursday, 1830-1930hrs, BT Sport 2).
For rally fans, there’s coverage of the dramatic BRC finale. To see champion Elfyn Evans take on Mark Higgins on Rally Isle of Man tune in on Thursday (1630-1730hrs, BT Sport 1).
But if you want something a bit different then there are highlights from the recent Super One karting event at Shenington to see some stars of the future. Catch the action on Monday evening (1925-2100hrs, Motors TV).
