Hillclimb section to run on Manx Classic event
The newly-resurfaced Sloc hillclimb will return to the schedule for the three-day Manx Classic next April when up to 100 cars will tackle three different hills on three consecutive days over closed public roads on the Isle of Man.
The Sloc, recently used on Rally Isle of Man for the first time in 36 years, will be run on Thursday April 27 before the action moves to two sections of the TT course. Climbs at Creg Willey (1.39-miles) on Friday and then Lhergy Frissell, the 1.48-mile climb out of Ramsey, complete the event.
The 1.06-mile Sloc hill was last used in 2013 due to a deteriorating road surface, but is now in superb condition.
