CSCC to head back to Combe in 2017
The Classic Sports Car Club will make a return to Castle Combe in 2017, which will end the club’s three-year absence from the circuit.
The CSCC has been pencilled in for an August 12/13 meeting, filling a fourwheeled-racing gap in the Wiltshire circuit’s current calendar between the British Racing and Sports Car Club Weekend on 15/16 July, and the traditional August Bank Holiday meeting.
The racing season at Castle Combe is once again kicked off with the Howard’s Day meeting on April 17, which was abandoned due to inclement weather this season. Two May Bank Holiday meetings precede the BRSCC weekender.
Following the CSCC and the August Bank Holiday race day, the Autumn Classic once more rounds out the calendar on October 7, with the Grand Finals Raceday a weekend later on October 14.
