Fastest on every stage over two days of the Glyn Memorial were local crew Wil Owen and Rob Hopewell in their Ford Escort Mk2, finishing over a minute ahead of Dave Davies and Ian Jones, who gained their best result in the BMW M3 Compact.

Mike Taylor and 15-year-old Louise Gilks claimed third in a Talbot Sunbeam-lotus, the result promoting Taylor to the ANWCC Runner-up spot.

Eric Roberts and Iwan Pritchard took the two-litre class in their Escort Mk2 and fourth overall, thanks to Rob Hughes and Sion Cunniff hitting a chicane in their Ford Focus Millington and so throwing away a class win. Second, some distance back in 18th, were road rally competitors Gary and Jamie Ollerenshaw, in a Honda Civic. Steve Bishop and Jason Dunn claimed third in a Peugeot 206 GTI.

Fifth overall were Howard Potter and Martin Haggett who took the 1600 class in their Sunbeam, but only just ahead of the Peugeot 106 Maxi of Christopher Stanfield and Sarah Edwards, third going to local crew Derwyn Roberts and Paul Morris in an Escort Mk3.

WAMC contenders William Mains and Vince Mosley took their Vauxhall Nova to 16th overall and the 1400cc class win ahead of Dion Rowlands and Kai Alcock in a Vauxhall Corsa, the one-litre Toyota Aygo of Alistair Dodd and Tara Lee Hardman third.
