Cosworth DFV to be celebrated at Race Retro
Fifty years of the Cosworth DFV engine and the 40th anniversary of the re-opening of Donington Park will be marked in a joint display at Race Retro, which runs on Febuary 24-26.
A collection of Dfv-powered cars has been curated by Mike Costin, who along with Keith Duckworth gave his name to the engine. The display will include the Williams FW08 used by Keke Rosberg to win the 1982 World Championship. Costin will be interviewed on the Live Stage during the three-day show at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry.
The display will feature cars from the Donington Grand Prix Collection, marking the 40th anniversary of racing returning to the circuit in May 1977.
