Motor Sport News - - Insight: F1 Statistics -

Monza is known as the cathedral of speed, and it was a place where three-time world champion Nelson Piquet worshipped often.

The Brazilian hammered home the superiority of the brutally powerful Williams-honda in 1986 and ’87 to follow up his win at the Italian venue that he had taken for Brabham earlier in his career.

To underline his reputation as king of the fast tracks, he also has three wins at Hockenheim on his CV too, but no wins at Monaco.
