Pittard gets British GT4 seat from Foster
Ginetta race-winner David Pittard will join Lanan Racing for a British GT4 campaign this year, as a late replacement for Joey Foster.
Pittard will share the team’s G55 GT4 with Alex Reed, after Foster was forced to withdraw from his plans to contest this season due to business commitments.
Pittard joins British GT off the back of several strong seasons in sportscars. He was runner-up in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup in 2014, when a member of the KX Akademy programme.
“I’m excited to be joining Lanan, with their pedigree in singleseaters and prototypes,” said Pittard. “Their impressive debut season in British GT [in which Reed and Foster finished sixth in the points with one win at Spa] underlines their engineering and development skills.”
Lanan’s Graham Johnson added: “Having to replace Joey was always going to be a tough task, but after discussions with drivers, I felt David and Alex would be an awesome pairing.”
