Combe man Krayem to run British GT race-winning Dodge Viper in GT series
Castle Combe GT frontrunner Dave Krayem has swapped his Ginetta G50 for an EX-ORECA Dodge Viper GT3 for the 2017 season.
Krayem has purchased the car, which he ran for a customer last year. He’s planning to appear in a multitude of different championships with the British GT event-winning car.
“It’s an ORECA Viper which won in British GT at the time, and then it was heavily developed for Dutch Supercar in 2013 or 2014,” said Krayem. “Then it won the Britcar Endurance Championship and we were running it for a customer last year. I enjoyed it so much I bought it for myself.
“We’ll run this in various things, maybe Dutch Supercar, Britcar, GT Cup, club racing. I do something and get bored so we’ll do different things.”
Krayem shook down the car at Donington Park a fortnight ago ahead of the new season.
