Gow to retire
Motor Sports Association chairman Alan Gow will retire from his position at the head of the British governing body at the end of this year. Gow, 62, has held the position since January 1 2006 and has confirmed he will not continue beyond a fourth term. The MSA has already begun the process to select a new chairman, and expects to announce Gow’s replacement later this year. He currently combines his MSA role with that of series director of the British Touring Car Championship, and president of the FIA’S touring car commission.
