Arden reveals full British F4 line-up
Arden has become the first British F4 team to complete its driver line-up for this season, announcing Ayrton Simmons, Oscar Piastri, Yves Baltas and Olli Caldwell.
Simmons is the only one of the quartet to have raced in the series last year, impressing in the final round of the season as he took second place. Australian Piastri has starred in karting and was second fastest in the first F4 collective test earlier this month. He is also competing in United Arab Emirates F4 this winter.
Baltas, who is from New York, spent the past year testing with Arden after competing in numerous kart series in the US, while Caldwell has become the second driver to commit to the series’ new Challenge Cup. The Briton competed in Ginetta Junior last year and will make his singleseater debut when he turns 15 on the weekend of the Croft meeting in June.
All four drivers are members of the team’s Young Racing Driver Academy.
“It is great working with the YRDA once again, and to have a full four-car line up,” said Arden team manager Ben Bloomfield. “The championship focuses on the young talent, and within the team we have four of the most talented young drivers on the scene.”
Arden will run Simmons, Piastri, Baltas and Caldwell
